International Women's Day 2017 - GDG/WTM Dang

Women Techmakers is Google’s global program for women in technology. WTM provides visibility, community, and resources for women in technology to drive innovation and participation in the field. WTM events are designed to promote an environment of inclusivity for women in technology, as well as celebrate women leading the industry. We want to advance, grow, and celebrate women developers, designers, and technology entrepreneurs across all phases of their career.

The general objective of WTM’s activities is to increase awareness and participation of women in technical events, by promoting technology-based and technical know-how to enhance problem-solving skills.

International Women’s Day (IWD) is marked on March 8th every year. In different regions, the focus of celebrations ranges from general respect and appreciation toward women to a celebration of women’s economic, political, and social achievements. Google supports and celebrates women in technology through numerous initiatives, and considers International Women's Day an important moment to recognize how women have influenced the tech industry and beyond.

The first International Women's Day celebration from Women Techmakers (WTM) Dang with Google Developer Group(GDG) Dang is ready to hold under the theme of 'Telling our Story!'.

The event will be a full day event which will consist of different kind of sessions throughout the day like GCP Next Replay, demo labs, tech talks and team activities...etc with food, giveaways, and excitement too.
